All of these search mechanisms will lead you through to a list of individual monument records.
When you view a monument record you will also be given the option to view the monument on a map using
our new GIS application.
From the map you can identify monuments or run another search based on a location or type of monument
using the tools provided.

Monument search
|
| Use this search to find sites and monuments of particular types, such as villas,
barns or churches, from particular periods or in particular areas.

Evidence search
|
| Use this search to find particular types of evidence, such as timber, stone, or coins, from particular periods or in particular areas. |

Media search
|
| Use this search to find aerial photographs, virtual models or digital video relating to particular sites and monuments or types of site. |

| Use this search to find monuments in a specific area using a map interface. |

Freetext search
|
| This is a keyword search which searches the whole of the record for the words you choose. |
